TOPIC: Dr. Stan comments

Dr. Stan comments 2 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I have found it very interesting that the latest group of graduates all make mention of Stan Katz and how attractive he is.

I know that being confined with a group of people for a period of time will bond you to those people, but the comments the recent graduates have made about Stan have been a little askew.

Has anyone else noticed?

I think you are right. He becomes cuter as the only man in the House. And he is attractive because he is very kind and sensitive and he has helped them so much. But in the outside world if he was working in an office some where, I don't think all the ladies would see him the same way.

Truly, I think it is because they figure out he is actually what they want in a man. He's handsome, sensitive, sharp, open, protective, good-natured, kind, generous, understanding, and obviously loving. My list of complimentary adjectives is almost endless. I really don't think anythink inappropriate is going on. Most of these women have had incomplete or unsatisfactory relationships at best, and at worst - downright hellish. Who wouldn't develop a "schoolgirl crush" on such a wonderful man?

I just think this particular group of women all really appreciated his kind and sensitive manner... Most of them have had father issues and have really not had positive male role models growing up. I think it's been said that girls often look for a mate that reminds her of her dad... If you don't have that to begin with...surely it would make picking a mate that much more difficult..

I am sure most of them see him as a very special person.. on the inside..and that can only make the outside more likeable too. He seems to be a devoted family man and that helps anchor him too.

Since the house is sorority girlish.... I'm sure it's a running joke on Dr. Stan and his hands... and the fact that he is the only male authority figure there that we know of.

I think they all highly respect him.

It's not that uncommon for patients to develop crushes on their therapists...Since they can become so open and vulnerable.. I've seen nothing but a great and understanding compassionate Dr. and professionalism when we've seen his sessions. He is actually very insightful... But then that's why he's the doc...and I'm not!

If they've ever had a problem with an hg getting a crush on him and being inappropriate, I've never heard of it...

He takes the good natured ribbing and compliments graciously.

Wouldn't he do well with his own show!?

"Insightful"!!!
Thanks, KPW - I knew there was another adjective I really wanted to use!

And, YES, he would do very well on his own show!
