I forget the name of the woman who worked with Niambi today on SO, and who co-authored "Chicken Soup for the African American Soul," but i actually wondered if the show or the producers were trying her out as a substitute Iyanla, in case the show or some offshoott of it continues. I know that no one else is the one and only Iyanla - but, I thought that lady was pretty interesting and she seemed to give some meaningful input to Niambi. I wonder if we will see her again in some other venue ...

I thought the same thing! It almost felt like an audition of some sort. I do not remember the woman's name either, but I kind of feel like even though no one could ever replace Iyanla, this lady would make a good substitute if Iyanla does not want to come back. I cannot believe this season is ending so fast, I feel sorry for Niambi, not getting a Graduation and all, but I guess we will actually have to see the episodes before passing any judgments.

No, not just you. I think it was the exercise that made it seem like an audition. It was like they were seeing what she was capable of. I wish we could remember her name...

I think with Niambi's not Graduating, and Bethany's promise to come back when she's ready seem to be indicating that a fourth season was planned. I hope we will actually get to see it. It would really be sad if Niambi spent all this time in the house and never got to Graduate. And Bethany might really need the help. I know I would want to be in the Starting Over House. Of course, I can't...I'm a guy!

Where did you see a chat from Iyanla about her leaving even if the show is renewed? Mabey it is just me but I am devestated that the show isn't going to be picked up for season 4. I know I am going to go through a bit of depression. It is such a part of my life I always look forward to it and have watched since day one and never miss it (I have tivo.) Am i alone or is any one else just sick about it
