Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

I am so sad to see this show go off the air. I signed an email petition that was going around on one of the message board sites to save this show. This is a wonderful show that helps women. I know because it helped me make the decision to go back to college and stop thinking negative thoughts about myself. I am going to send a letter to NBC Universal And the producers of the show to say that I am disappointed. Maybe we can have some say if we showed support that way.

There is a rumor going around that Rhonda and Dr. Stan may be collaborating on something. Maybe it will be similar to SO.

There was a thread on another site that someone heard (and this should be considered a rumor and not a spoiler...) that the race that is being organized may be a ground roots building attempt for a future endeavor.. Rhonda is the one pushing it and behind it... Iyanla has for the most part had nothing to say about the race.. Even in group. (I hadn't noticed it until I saw that post, but I don't recall having heard Iyanla say one thing about the race..) I wonder if she'll even be at it?

The notion struck me that if it was true... the race name would make a good title for another similar type show. Maybe there is a connection and then again maybe not...

I am going to keep my eyes peeled for any news on Rhonda's blog at the website. Obviously she wouldn't promote something prematurely... but maybe soon after the show wraps up..or further into whatever is being developed by her and Dr. Stan. Dr. Stan has been a wonderful asset to the show.. He could almost single handedly do a show himself! Not sure what role he might play.. and if it would be a similar format or something entirely different. Maybe he would only be a consultant for it...

Something to be on the lookout for...

SO needed some tweaking anyway... It is a great show but definitely has some faults..

Hi, how did you hear the show was canceled?

You go to the official website of Starting Over at startingovertv.com
and under episode guide it says for Wednesday's show that it is the Series Final show. That can only mean that it is cancelled otherwise it would say Season Final show.

Maybe I'm just wishful thinking, but I don't see where it says series finale. It just says the current women move out of the house.

Hi I am with you. I keep hoping some other network will pick it up. But someone said they went to Christie's myspace and Christie said she will be the last one to graduate from SO. It is so sad!
