Meryl is my very favorite actor. Just last week I watched Out of Africa for about the 49 time. What a movie. Remember when she is flying in the small plane with Robert Redford, soaring over the beautiful African landscape, and as the beauty overwhelms them, she reaches for his hand and they hold hands in the sky and fly up into the clouds. Not a word is spoken yet I am full of tears.

She and the supporting actress from the new movie were on The View last week. They aired it twice. The panel loved the movie. I'll probably wait til it comes out on DVD.

I too love "Out of Africa", it is an incredible movie....I own both the DVD and the Soundtrack. What I respect about Meryl Streep, is that she embraces her career by giving excellence to each and every role. Yet, her personal life is just that, personal. I cannot remember Meryl Streep ever attempting to put herself in the public eye and flaunting her celebrity. She has far too much class for that nonsense!
