they are playing the season over again...it is called summer RERUNS...other shows have them so why the big surprise that SO would be in reruns too!?? I love the show and truly hope it is not cancelled, too. In my area, here in northern MN it is currently on the FOX network. Seasons one and two were on our ABC affiliate. It is a syndicated show, that means whoever buys the rights to it, that is where it is aired. I love Iyanla too. I have one of her books..IN THE MEANTIME...great book. Helped me realize there was life after divorce. I hope WHEN the next season of SO starts Iyanla will be there. BYW, whatever happened to the first life coach with Rhonda. Her name was Rana. Anyone remember her?

I happened to look at the _link_ for her at the blog site. (under resources/_link_s of the women)... I didn't see much of the first season to amass much of an opinion about her. What I did see, she was more calmer natured than Iyanla... she does have a statement at her site, about why she didn't return to SO for season 2. I think I also heard that Iyanla was originally wanted in the first place but during season 1 Iyanla was dealing with her daughter's health issues. She passed away sometime during the first season from colon cancer.

Yes, That's what Rhonda (during the Mall tour) and a producer (in an article posted here) said about this all issue. So, I don't know where Rana got her info. The only reason she got the job the first season, was because Iyanla declined it. Maybe the producers should have sit Rana down and explain her that.

Rana has her own coaching company called DiamondCutters:

(Fixed your typo, BTW).

Hi, Thankyou so much for the info on Rana. I have watched all three seasons of SO and never new why she was'nt with the show anymore. I really liked her and I for one was disappointed that she was'nt on the show anymore. I also kept hoping she would visit or something. I thought it was strange when season 2 started Rhonda didnt give a reason or anything even to Josie on the show so it could give some of us that really liked her a answer to why she was gone or an excuse or something. Anyway I don't mean to go on and on but thnks again, I've wanted to know what happend for 2 years now.

I was also a big fan of hers and wished she had come back. I think what happened was that she opted out when they decided to move to Los Angeles. Her business in Chicago does great, and they also fly her in once a week to teach a kickboxing class at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia (her class is so popular that they have a waiting list of over a year), so it probably just would have been too much of a hassle for her to have to go from Chicago to LA to Philly every week. I miss her.
