TOPIC: No Andy Paige for my SO gradution

No Andy Paige for my SO gradution 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
If I ever got up the courage to be in the SO house, after all of the hard work I went through - on NATIONAL TV - I would like to get a pat on the back (OK, rewarded) with a makeover.

But in no way, shape or form would I want a makeover from Andy Paige. This woman is nice, to be sure. But from what she has shown us this past season, there is no way I would ever let her near me while I was shopping, even if the shopping trip was free.

And PLEASE, PLEASE don't let her near my face! Andy does clown makeup. It doesn't work on her, and it doesn't work on others. And someone's got to tell her.

I am so sincere. Having Andy Paige be my makeover person would be a dealbreaker for me to be on Starting Over.

(And yet, she's really nice, and means well. She just got some really bad advice from Rhonda. Who also needs to find a new stylist. If Andy's been doing it, well . . . start looking NOW.)

I completely agree. Nice lady, yes. Stylist? No way. The women deserve so much better.

I can't decide if the stores they show have something to do with what they pick out for their graduation outfits.

They are all local LA stores, so us in mid-AMerica won't ever got to them. I wonder why they are picked and not a national department store like JC Penneys or even Sears.

Also, Andy could just take the women to their closets and pick something out from their existing clothes. She's done that on other occasions for photo shoots and recording sessions and she does a pretty good job pulling stuff together.

Maybe someone could ask a graduate on their webpage or chat about the make-overs.

'Tis a puzzlement.

AND, why do some of them get taken to what look like nice boutiques, and then poor Christy is photographed with 40% off signs all around here, no matter where she was in the store.

And I did not like Christie's dress. It was OK, but not Christie. I would have chosen something with arms that would have covered up her "problem spots" without having to resort to tying a sash across her shoulders.

Gee-eez!
