Starting Over Talk

Thinking out loud... I wonder if Oprah would be interested in picking up SO for her Oxygen Network. I e-mailed her website www.oprah.com, doubt if she'll respond... maybe we should flood her site with requests to bring it to her attention. I understand she had Iyanla on her show... does anyone at SOT know Oprah... or anyone at FOX, ABC or CBS? You never know unless you ask. Oh well... I really hate to see this show come to an end.

Is Oprah affiliated with the Oxygen Network?

I think Lifetime would be a good prospect too. But if the producers don't wanna continue... can't very well make them.

Don't go asking WE to pick up this show. They stopped showing "McLeod's Daughters," without a thankyou for the women who were watching on Saturday nights.

"McLeod's Daughters" was a show about women in the Australian outback who run a sheep farm. But it was more than that, of course. I got hooked after catching a Sunday afternoon marathon when I was home sick, and I was a goner thereafter.

It was like watching "Sisters" on Saturday nights all over again. Finally, something for women to watch on Saturday nights! We're not in bars, and we're not throwing grand dinner parties.

We're home watching TV.

Why don't TV execs listen to us? I want to continue to get my daily group therapy session from "Starting Over."

You know that is a very good point. It is alot of pressure and hopefully she will ask for additional help if she doesn't think she is getting it.
