I wouldn't even dream of blowing a phone line without really good lip gloss.

Makeovers are not miracles, you have to work with what you have, just like haircuts, some you'll like, some you won't and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Overall she's done a good job and she does seem very nice. She always is so excited for them and tries to make them feel good about themselves, that's what it's all about.

She does suit some people's taste and that's great.. nothing wrong with that. Others she doesn't. Nothing wrong with that either. That's whats great about the diversity in this world.. there is something for everyone. What confuses me is why.. if someone doesn't agree with someone else.. it's seen as offensive to that person. We are different and we need to learn to accept those differences more freely and openly.. then we might just get somewhere.

Actually.. now that I think about it, Andy would be perfect for avon. She loves meeting people and doing make-up and she wouldn't have to worry about finding the right outfit, maybe avon can teach her how to tone it down a bit.. that the natural look is in and the Marilyn Monroe look is out! (or is it Brooke Shields eyebrows and Marilyn eyes and lips?)

I never worry about "makeover" day, it's just one day, after all.
Andi only does the makeup...it was pretty obvious, today that
Sommer picked her own dress...wasn't going for any of the
suggested revealing clothes!! And I don't mind the eyebrows
either...better that than the over plucked and drawn back in
variety....they "went out with the ark," didn't they?
I liked Andi when she was a house guest, although it did take me
a while to warm up to her, before she opened up a little. I think
it's great that at least one former HG has parlayed her lessons
learned into more than "dreaming or wishing." Do I always like
the makeovers? No, but I think it's good that the ladies are
"game" for a change...makeup washes off, hair grows, NBD.
