Parker.... yes I feel the same about Iyanla. She is the best. I loved what she said today, speaking to Antonia, about what a smart, blah blah blan woman she saw in her, and then you open your mouth. And I see a spoiled 14 year old. Geeeeze she does call them like she sees them. While I saw some of season 1, Iyanla is the one who got me hooked. I sure will miss her.

I don't think I will watch without Iyanla either. She has been SOOO powerful to me and I will miss her wisdom sooo much. She is a wonderful woman and my hero. The show will not be the same. Also, Lisa Nichols co-authored "chicken soup for the african american soul".

She's just too immature, with too many issues, to graduate yet. She insists that she's a grown ass woman. But, she's one of the most immature HG's I've ever seen. A brat in serious need of an ass whipping.
You don't think that Christie had anything to do with that????
Niambi actually admitted, the next day, that christie didn't have anything to do with it. And, even if Christie had anything to do with it or not, a restaurant wasn't the appropriate place to start, and drag out, an argument. If Niambi wanted a drink with her meal, she should've asked Christie if she'd mind. That would've been the grown ass thing to do. As for painting the room, Christie did offer to help. But, Antonia acted as if she didn't really want her help. And, everyone did promise to help. After they came back from the restaurant. But, if Antonia hadn't taken all those stupid naps, and waited until the last minute, the primer coat could've been done before they went out. The first color coat done when they came back. And, another coat done the next morning if it was needed.

Yes it is to bad IV was only available for the 2 seasons of the show. Can you imagine being booked that far ahead of time??? I will follow her books from now on. She is a great lady, kind of reminds me some of Maya Angalou.

I would continue watching if Lisa Nichols of "Chicken Soup for the African American Soul" were to take Iyanla's place, just long enough to see what she's all about. I am praying that after the Emmy nomination that NBC would see the need for this program. I kind of wonder why WE hasn't tried to pick this show up. It sure would make their lineup a lot richer and more watched.

I felt the same way about Lisa Nichols and I thought they were actually trying her out during her exercise with Niambi. I really liked her. She was smart, insightful and had a soft manner.
If, as my local station told me, the show is ending because the producers themselves don't want to make it any more because it never generated enough revenue, then it's not going to be a matter of what station it's on. I think it would take a spin-off or copycat show to keep it going, and by a different production company - or I guess a better deal with the existing production company.
