I'm watching the Daytime Emmys, and posting during the commercials. (I may soon need a stay in the SOH for my compulsive behavior.)

My daughter is at the Emmys -- she saw Iyanla on the red carpet. Took a picture with her, and Iyanla kissed her on both checks. My daughter said she was so gracious and so warm. She may see her at the after show dinner.

My daughter was so impressed with Dr. Stan after Kim's graduation she wants to ask him if he has a son for her -- I told her I thought he has two little girls. LOL She hasn't seen him or Rhonda yet.

Thought I'd share -- LOL -- not usually star struck, but this was fun.

I don't know why...but I thought Dr. Stan had several daughters.. Maybe 5! I'm not positive.. Maybe I can find the article I saw last year about him...

That is really neat that your daughter got to meet Iyanla!

Is your daughter in the industry?

I'll see if I can double check about Dr. Stan's family...

He seems to be a devoted family man.

She's not in the industry, but it's a perk as part of her job to host certain events.

Still, Way cool!

It says he lives with his wife and 5 children...but for some reason I thought he had daughters... Maybe some have left the nest at this point... He seems to be around my age and I know my ALMOST a full fledged empty nester... 2 down and 1 to go! (1 more year!)
