As unfortunate as a divorce is, it's even more unfortunate if Lisa and her husband stayed together for that many years leading separate lives and long past any real connection to each other. I know it's not a "happy" ending if the runor is true, but it doesn't have to be a sad ending for Lisa either. It may be a beginning for her. My guess is that if they had not been intimate in two years, as she said, then the intimacy on every level was rare well before that. Why should anyone live that way, like two ghosts trapped in the same house? Lisa's not dead yet. He is one man in the world. There are others. Letting go of an illusion can be sad at first, but eventually, liberating.
