For those of you who pray, I would like to offer up a few things to you, and please add on your own.
For my brother Al, who left for overseas military duty this week. He leaves behind a wife and young son. He is scheduled to be away for 18 months.
For the health of the many people on this board. May this be a place of comfort and peace to all who visit.
For another poster I'll call gypsy, who found out she has cervical cancer, again. This has been weighing on my heart lately, and wanted to offer her my prayers here as well.

hs I know how hard it is for you that your brother is gone overseas.
I will keep him, and all the men and women fighting this war, that they can all come home safe and that each have their own angle to protect them.
And that God sends his strongest angels to be around the families left at home alone for so long, to have the strength and courage to be strong till their love one comes home.
I will also make special mention of "gypsy" in my prayers when I pray for all my Chat room friends here each night.

Hsmom,
It is just another reminder for us to keep all people in the Military in our prayers.
I have several friends in the military and they are serving. Their families sacrafice so much for them.
I will kepp "gypsy" in my prayers.

Yes, curly, it is important to keep all of the men and women serving this country in our hearts and minds.
I got the address for my brother from his wife today. I am off to bake him cookies!

Yes answered prayers are great. One of my Nephews whom is in the armed serivces is coming home for Christmas. Yeah, Now if only his older brother who is stationed in Germany could come home too.

HSmom I am sorry you had to see your brother off at this time of year. I pray for you and him amd his family that you will stay strong while you are apart and look joyfully to the future when he will return to his loving family. Your'e a lucky sister to have such a special brother. God bless him
