Is this a long enough sentence???
Do y'all remember when the operator of a crematory dumped more than 330 corpses (charged with, probably more) on his property giving the relatives of the dead cement dust instead of ashes??? in Lafayette, GA?
He pled Guilty Friday under a deal with prosecutors (just what I thought) and COULD get up to 12 years in prison. (!!!!)
"To those I have hurt, I apologize," Ray Brent Marsh, 31, said after pleading guilty to 787 felony counts.

See even though they say 330 corpses, I believe he was charged with everything to do with each body...I guess like not disposing properly, leaving the corpses to pile up in his barn & sheds, not proper disposal...who knows but IMO he should get MORE TIME than 12 years!
It's just disgusting & so terribly morbid!
Just don't understand what our Society these days is thinking about, who has taken control of their minds to do such acts???

I feel so terrible for the families. That must be so very tramatic for them. It almost makes me cry for the pain they must be feeling and the injustice to it all.

I don't remember the date of this but can recall being so overwhelmed with grief for these families. And angered at the same time!
Just wondering what ever would possess a human being to do this to so many more, albeit they are already deceased doesn't matter to me, just so morbid!
There was a pond in the back of the place, too, that had to be searched. Don't recall what the outcome was with that.
It was so wierd because my X-BF's Dad lived in TN & passed away just prior to this happening. His family didn't keep in close contact w/the man's wife. She had said she was to have him cremated. In order to do that, TN had to send the bodies to GA!!! It was not my place to look into it & apparentlynone of his siblings did either but the thought always ran through my mind that this Proud Man may have been one of these corpses. Since then his wife had died also...and don't believe the family has ever looked into it.
