Alleycrash-try not to look down your nose at people posting on these message boards. Most of us watch this reality show because it's not a typical reality show like "Survivor." (Sounds like you haven't really watched much) We watch it because we see it change people's lives in incredibly profound ways.
In fact, Lisa's sad story was the only "reality show" story on SO. That they let her graduate severly ruined the integrity of this program. Trust me, many of us are not entertained by Lisa. Personally, I look at Lisa and see myself as I was in junior high school. Including the baby-tee. At best, it's fascinating to watch a forty-year old meandering through life with so little to offer. Or, having all the potential and choosing to do nothing with it.
If you're wondering why people think you're Lisa, maybe it's because there's some subtle condescention in the words you choose.
As if Lisa wouldn't watch herself in all of her glory one way or another, even if SO doesn't air in Miami!
You also have implied that because we've invested minutes of our time posting on "our" message boards, that Lisa must be so utterly important to us. Really, I feel like posting because she was the most pathetic member of a program I've enjoyed since day one and am angry she wasted a space in that house of healing.
You seem to enjoy bringing info to "our" message board and causing a stir. Consider it "your" message board, and welcome. You're one of us. So get off the high horse.

I intend this to be my last post about Lisa. I hope to just put it behind me. But I have been wondering about something. Lisa said she went to college. Did she say she graduated from college? I think she did or inferred that she did. So, how did she manage to do all the things you must do in college in order to graduate, such as regularly attend class, focus on assigments and complete them, develop study habits, show up for exams and complete them, pay attention in class and not talk to others while teach is talking, etc.?

Does anyone actually know the name of the school? Was it in Miami? I'm just curious to know if she really graduated.
I find it even more odd that with a college degree she would end up working as a fitting room attendant.

Debby, I've wondered the same thing.... But alot of people manage to skirt the system by cheating... or doing as little as possible.. Even that would have been more effort than she showed while at the SO house. I'm NOT saying that's how she got through college...but just a thought... I think someone said she studied international relations or something like that. I don't know how hard that major is.

There was someone who posted earlier in the season on this board or another that Lisa is still the same as she was in college... There used to be quite a black market for term papers. Many colleges now have software that can pick that stuff up and also plagarism... Alot of colleges have an honor code as well. All those came about because of extensive cheating on college campuses.

Lisa seems to be bright enough... and when she puts her mind to it...probably could do quite well in a career.

Debby, good question.. don't know if she finished or what courses she took but it's interesting that if she can finish a college course that she has it in her somewhere? lol I do not like her behavior in any way, but she isn't stupid.. kind of like she has the intelligence she doesn't choose to use and just has no common sense or sense of how she looks to the world. However, I wouldn't go as far as incinuating she probably cheated her way through college or anything like that. She isn't stupid she's shown she can use her brain when she wants to she just chooses not to a lot of times and act dumb because it's worked to get her what she wants.

Perfectly said, and, I couldnt agree more about Lisa!! What a pathetic excuse for cheap t.v. entertainment. A "woman" (if you could call her that) named Lisa comes on the show, flunks, then laughs her way thru it,--when she isnt crying those damn crocodile tears--I do belive that she did ruin the integrity of the show as well as the other women that came to work and be serious about their lives. Why in the world she wasnt kicked out defies me. Why does SO even bother having rules if they themselves are NOT going to abide by them? I think they lost a lot of creditation when they pulled this with Lisa. Bad move on their part

It's sad she sure did make a mockery of the show IMO as well. Chance after chance she squandered.. I couldn't believe they allowed her to graduate when she never earned it.. she never grew up she never changed at all in my eyes.. and she ended up getting rewarded for it.. wonder what message that sent to Lisa, oh boy.
