In the last moments of Jill talking to her dad..... It bought me back to the time when Jill was doing the puppets with Iyanla. How she essentially had come full circle and was just sitting there lost in her thoughts and absorbing the reality. In both her demeanor was similar... and it just struck me how well Iyanla knew at the point that this was an especially important area to follow up for Jill so that she had the closure.

I am so glad that things have turned out so well for Jill.

Jackee.....I LOVE the "cross-pollinated" comment!!!

I agree with you and K-gurl that they are most likely interviewed and it keeps coming up as an issue whether they acknowledge the depth of that issue or not. There are many of us who will never heal that relationship, and to be extremely honest (ouch!) I don't want to with mine because he simply doesn't care and doesn't want to but I do admit to an envy of the women who actually either FIND or find out they have a father who isn't an apathetic sperm donor OR are able to truly work out an enjoyable but realistic relationship!! And I wish them all the best!! You CAN overcome not having a loving father in your life.....but it sure is harder and always seems to niggle in you that you aren't worthy! But I'm blessed and did NOT choose a mate like my father!!!! And my hubby is a great daddy too!!!! So I'm happy to see the hgs connect but I agree Lisacrans with your concern and it should ONLY be done if it's truly a wish/goal of the hg.

BTW....welcome!!!!

Wow! Powerful visual KP. I forgot about that. Full circle indeed.

Yes, basically I'll post a similar comment to the one under Rhonda.

BOTH women bring unique experiences and skills to the house in dealing with the hgs. And the hgs respond differently to varied approaches.

I think they ARE both amazing women and learn a LOT from them whether I agree with each assignment or session (of course I don't!!) or not!!

I agree. Perhaps she had a family or professional emergency that caused her to leave town. However, I always love to see Dr. Stan. Most all of the HGs talk about how calming Dr. Stan is to them, but I find him exciting. I do hope Iyanla returns soon. It's just not the same without her.

One of my friends chose this week to start watching SO. I had to explain Yyanla's absence. She reallly liked it. She is the only friend I have who will watch the show, even though I rave about how great it is. None of them will tell me why they refuse to watch it. Go figure.
