At this point Witchy is crawling down a tree to check out the group as they start off down the yellow brick road.

Some wild connotations about the relationship between some of the characters.

Should be interesting.

Yeah, I'm just finishing the first part and I admit it's definitely going that direction. I am really hoping that's just how these beginning characters are and that's not the theme of the entire book!!!

I also got they are definitely trying to show that Elphaba was bullied and that Galinda was spoiled. It does show that how we are raised and treated does affect us. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

Yes, it's kinda slow and definitely not a quick read! And my 15 y.o. daughter will certainly not be allowed to read it!!!! But it has my attention for the time being!

I'm right about where you are it seems. I may read a lot this weekend or not depending on what the in-laws decide to do when we visit them!!!
