Starting Over Talk

Other than calling the number is there anything else I can do to help get SO back?? I was totally shocked and saddened when I heard the show was cancelled... I think the greatest part about the show is that u watch the woman progress in their healing and there r many times u see something of yourself in them.. I know there r many self help shows on (Dr. Phil for one) But this show was so unique in actually watching them achieve their goals step by step... I still am in shock over this and hope there is something more I can do to bring it back. It is sooo sad that now a days its all about how much $ the show can pull in to determine if it stays on. Anymore they pull them b4 they even get a chance....

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed... maybe next year??!

Sommer returned this past season, earned her last two steps, and graduated. Much as I came to like her this time around, and would love to see her back on SO, in some capacity, she did successfully complete her process.

It is a done deal ladies. It has been since July. Calling will do nothing, letters will do nothing. There is no more SO. Bunim-Murray has moved on and I think everyone else needs to move on to. I will miss it too, but thats the breaks.

True. That's what happen when you get sign on NBC or this guy name murray or whatever you get cancel like that. They don't care if you are a Emmy Winner or got nominated couple times. I guess this was one of the best reality show truly the best Im going to miss it alot. Moving on

I too am a BIG fan and so heart-broken to hear that SO will not return (for now, I still have hope!) for Season Four. Before I found this website I sent emails to NBC and Bunim/Murray. Can anyone direct me to the petition I can submit?

In fact when Starting Over was nominated in the Spring here's a quote from her:

"We are delighted that the Academy has honored 'Starting Over' once again with these nominations," says Linda Finnell, Senior Vice President, Programming, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution. "This special series continues to change the lives of those who come on to the show and many more across the country."

If they were so excited about changing lives why cut the show?

And just today they cut the website! Yes, if you go to www.startingovertv.com it redirects to www.nbc.com -- just like the Starting Over never existed! At least leave the website up for us... course it would have been nice if they would have added season 3 to the website... they never did! Ugh! I'm SO frustrated and angry! It's like I lost my best friend! Yeah Rhonda, and team!
