It was Jill's stepfather that was murdered. Her biological father abandoned them.

TigerRose, that's also how I understood it. That Barry was the stepdad (and a loving one from Lynda's perspective) and was murdered.

My take on how Jill perceived him (since her mom was shocked that Jill hadn't brought up Barry) was that he was a good man, but somehow didn't erase the abandonment she felt from her biological father.

If you look at this context, it says Lisa says her last goodbyes and a new housemate arrives. Since it talks about pushing Rhonda to the boiling point, she must be kicked out. If it happens all in one day, then it doesn't seem likely Lisa N. will get a graduation. It's not Jill graduating because according to that statement she is still working with a P.I.[/quote]


I bet the "boiling point" will be some kind of excersise that she finished so that she can graduate. As for her last goodbyes maybe it will be to her "crutch".
I would like to see Lisa leave, but after all this time, I am not sure that the show would actually kick her out. That could be perceived as a failure. They may just graduate her to get rid of her.

OR... they could do something that they did similarly with Tess. Let her down easy... and just admit that they don't have the resources (or patience) to help her achiever her goals. Maybe they'll offer to line her up with professional counseling back in South Beach!

Maybe another scenario could be that Lisa leaves of her own accord... But if that were true...they wouldn't have had a housemate waiting in the wings. It could be the show was taped over a couple day period. I've noticed when some of the new hg's come in..that it takes 2 shows to cover a single day's activities, interactions, and foundational issues the new dynamics in the house.

I should have added... that the reverse could be true. A single episode could be a compilation of several days to make up for lost time.. So Lisa's leaving and a new hg...could be depicted in the same episode, even if they were days apart!

Spoiler info regarding Kelly the girl who replaces Lisa... Another site kept saying that she replaced Lisa when she graduates. Maybe at that point Kelly's friend didn't know Lisa did or didn't graduate and made an assumption.

We shall see. Is that episode only 5 days away?

Too bad TIVO previews and the SO sites blurbs haven't been updated. I have a feeling that if the show did wrap up around the 23rd (based on a couple blog entries..) for the season, that the SO crew and staff are on vacation for a couple weeks... Would make sense since there is an obvious neglect of updates to any of the usual sources. Tvguide, tivo, home page of the show...or other.

I saw one spoiler suggesting that the couples reunion was going to occur during the next 2 weeks but with the surfacing of that Feb. 6th episode that may not be true at all. I've seen no other clues that the couples reunion would be occurring. I would think the show would advertise that so I doubt it's true.

I personally would love to know where the couples are in their relationslips!! Would be nice to see them again, or that could be the start of a new show for starting over. The judge from divorce court could sentence the couples to the starting over house for conseling!! Sounds like a good idea to me!!
