Hi all
I used to be Sweetndelicate and posted quite often last year. But for some reason when i registered the same name on this site they wouldnt let me
Last January I experienced a mom's worst nightmare when i was almost 26 weeks pregnant my doctor found that a knot had formed in the cord and to try to save the baby i had to have a c section....our son Matthew Michael was born weighing 1 pound 7 oz and with under developed lungs he passed away in my arms 4 hours later. We buried him in the christining dress my mom knitted for him along with an angel teddy bear and a blanket Yes a mom's worst nightmare.
I went through a dark period and hated everyone. and it was actually someone on the other SO board that told me to take it one day at a time and if i ever found a penny it was to be a sign that Matthew was telling me he was ok. about a month later i went into the room that was to be his room that was empty and had the biggest cry of my life, banged on walls and screamed, then i looked at the window and on the ledge was a shiny penny. and i felt like the weight of the world was removed from my shoulders.
In april I was feeling run down so i went to the doctor and found out that i was expecting again and immediatly broke down, my doctor assured me that every precaution was going to be taken
Well here is the update.... On Dec 20 I gave birth to a little girl Kristina Michelle weighing 4 pound 9 oz AND
Alexander Thomas weighing 4 pounds 8 oz both healthy and thriving
My son Matthew will never be forgotten he will always be my baby boy but was needed in heaven

I am so sorry to hear of the baby that you lost but what a double blessing to have given birth to twins. I am happy to hear of your news.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss but elated to hear of your joys. I understand completely about how it is to lose a child because I was 24 weeks along when I lost my Angel Baby Devon Lane. Mine was due to cervical incompetance. I had to have surgery to carry my other three boys to term and still had some problems with them and with each pregnancy. It is tough but that baby will forever be your Angel Baby in your heart.
