I have a question about praying the rosary. I read somewhere that if a person not indoctrinated in the Catholic church prays the Rosary every day, that they will be welcomed into heaven. Has anyone ever heard this or did I get wrong information from somewhere?

On a personal note, I bought a beautiful crystal rosary right before the Pope died. I have not prayed it yet, and my praying it is not contingent upon whether or not I go to heaven. I personally think that it is a beautiful meditation tool used to remind us of the sacred spirituality of women and the Blessed Mother.

I agree that the rosary is a beautiful meditation tool, but I prefer to recite my own mantras or affirmations on meditation beads.

It is interesting that meditation beads have been used in so many different cultures and religions. The rosary in catholicism, malas in hinduism, ojuzu in buddhism...
