Yes - and the same is true for those men who paid her to service them. I'm just saying the guys did what they did and they got what they got. Seriously, though. I didn't miss the part where she has a child and it's in poor taste and she supposedly had grown beyond all that. I'm not defending her actions. I just can't find any sympathy for the johns, is all. For their families, sure. Wives and girlfriends, absolutely. They now know they are dealing with the kind of guy who will risk their health and their lives for a couple minutes of good-timing. Not pleasant at all - but they deserve to have the truth. This isn't just about the emotional or social impact of the thing. Next time he strays, they might not be so lucky. Think of it as...a public health announcement...whether that was the actual intent or not, it still serves the purpose.

I just don't see how it benefited anyone to name the names. This book, from what I understood was supposed to be about HER healing, so why drag others through it? Except to make bucks off of it...which doesn't show strong character in my opinion.

No question she has a questionable character. But, the good it does to name names, in a cosmic sense anyway, is that these guys jeopardize their other partners' lives and their relationships, and all for their own fun, without consequences. Well, now there are consequences, for some of them anyway. It's a karmic thing. What you put out (no pun intended) comes back to you.

And if she was releasing names to alert their families she didn't have to do it pubically and humiliate the wives and children. They were innocent in all that mess.

No, I'm sure her motive wasn't to alert the families. Her motive was money. The result, however, is alerted families and, hopefully, chastened lotharios in the future who will think twice. But yeah, no question she was not trying to perform a public service.

Possibly she did have to do it publicly. She wasn't trying to alert the guys. They already knew what they did. But how would she find all the wives and girlfriends on her own? And that's assuming she actually gives a hang about them at all - which I don't assume at all.

And then, there's the possible get-even. Each and every one of them was willing to use her and treat her like an object. Maybe she wants a little payback?
