KNC, I understand what you are saying. I didn't mean to imply anyone on SOT was pre-judging. I did feel the SOH did that when they were doing the Christina story.

I didn't see the interview.(Wish I had). It sounds as if she came off as really bad. That is unfornate. I don't believe all people in the adult entertainment business are that way. (Although most tell-all authors come off as greedy tattle tails)
However, I don't think Iyanla is really surprised, because from everything she kept saying to Christina, she realizes the seductiveness of that business and the lure of the money.

And no, I am not in that business. After I wrote the post, I thought it might sound that way.

I do wish we could find out how Christina is doing and if there is any truth of her hooking up with a camera man from SO. I assume this happened after she graduated.(Wink, Wink)

As part of Christinas graduation didn't it get set up so she could intern for this women and learn how to become a writer? ( if i remember right).

I hope if that is the case Christina chooses to not go along with it.

I too have no problem with Karrine being a hooker or a porn star. Thats her choice and she has to live with it.

What I have a problem with is her going on TV and naming names of men she slept with as a hooker.

To me that would be the same as my banker talking about all my overdrafts or a Dr. talking about "that nasty rash" I have.

Huh? Hookers have some general kind of confidentiality responsibilities toward their johns? When did that happen?

I have no problem with a grown woman making the choices that Karrine has made for herself.
The problem I have is

1) she has a small child that is going to be affected by all the publicity. No matter how she tries, he is going to find out about this eventually. Either now or when he is older.
What will happen if he happens to be at, say a bachelor party and that movie is put on to play?

2) she was brought on to SO to be a role model to a young woman that was trying to get out of that life. I find it a little hypocritical to tell Christina one thing, when all the while she is doing this book and movie.

I would almost bet that Iyanla did not know about the movie when Karrine was brought onto the show.

Yes, she is an adult. However, being an adult means that you know that whatever you do, has consequences to other people. Whether they be people that you know or not.
