I don't think I will be bringing my dog to work. She would be way too nervous. I think it is a neat idea. However, I am guessing there are more employers that would not allow it, than employers who would.
You are right HD about the nursing home. Many do have programs for bringing pets in to visit the residents. My dad works in a nursing home. The residents love the visits. It would of course not be sanitary for them to stay for lenghty visits, but they do schedule pet days.

i don't know i guess i could bring my toy poodle in too see them. He would love it so much to see people. He loves people and to sit beside them. But, i'm just hoping that i do get the job.

OH, my, just imagining bringing my dog to work. . . sheer and total HAVOC!
She's a sweetie, but she's big and HATES for people to get to close to me. Can you imagine? Someone would come to see me, get too close and have 80 pounds of infuriated canine going for their throats!
Maybe I'll just stick wtih take your child to work day. . .
