Any nurses out there? 3 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0  
I'm a nursing student, starting my 3rd year in January. I've just got a job working on an ortho unit, which I'm pretty excited about.

I'm just wondering if there are any nurses on this board. Which area do you work in? I'm interested in working in the OR in the future or in ICU.

And do you have any words of wisdom for me? I'm excited, yet scared witless, about starting my new job. I've enjoed the orientation I've had.....I felt almost a part of the team for the first time since I started my course.

I deal with nurses everyday You can PM me My daughter was just in the ICU and I can tell you some stuff. I am Headed to Arizona State for my nursing degree in the fall. Let me know if you need any tips.
