Iyanla said in an interview on NY radio that she would not be returning next season (if there is another season). I am wondering what happened. the dynamic among her, Rhonda and Dr. Stan seemed to change.

I was wondering if they had conflict of if the producers were trying to push the show in another direction. I really watch this show because of Iyanla. Even though I love both coaches and Dr. Stan, Iyanla is like a TV life coach for me - LOL.

Has anyone heard about what went down with this season?

I wouldn't be at all surprised. I also wouldn't be surprised if the show was dissolved altogether or totally reformatted. I think the dynamics of the current house is getting more and more complicated. The show has bitten off more they can chew (I suspect) with the scope of problems they are trying to address. Much more than meat and potatoe type problems..

Also, it is clear the majority of us wouldn't want drag our loved ones through the mud for the sake of tv drama or for speculation. As we have seen several of the hg's coming into the house with questionable motives.

Did anyone catch Lisa mentioning yesterday that she is a people person and could be a producer or something (because of her creativity....) I thought of Sommer when she said that!

It's like the show is imploding!

I could see Iyanla with her own DR Phil/ Oprah type of Show.

It is too bad. I got a lot from this show. But when Iyanla was in NY for a workshop, she had also said that if they don't pull a certain rating, they would not return. It is too bad, especially when I think of Dr. Phil. That should have been Iyanla's show. I think she is outstanding as a coach and a speaker she is something to be seen.

But something went different this season. So we will see what happens. Iyanla was supposed to be on this show from season one, but could not do it because of scheduling. So Rana was used instead. Even though she was sweet, I never saw Rana as much of a coach. But many seemed to love her, so maybe she will come back.

Say it ain't so !!!!
What would we do without our Iyanla???!!!! Plus I finally pronounce her name right!!

Well, she has said in an article that she did not want to return THIS season either because she wanted to go to a ministry seminar. Plus, she said that she's too old to work that hard. She also has a problem with the way the show is edited. Hopefully, the producers will BEG her again for another season.
