The day starts off with a man named James knocking on the door. TJ answers and he says he’s here for Allison. He has a big bowl in his hands and sets it on the table. Iyanla in confessional says today is a special surprise. Iyanla wants Allison to practice being open with a man and give her a taste of what she could have. TJ wakes Allison up by telling her she has a gentleman caller. Allison laughs and says she needs to remove zit cream and put her sticking up hair down because her boyfriend is here. Allison really wants to take a shower but doesn’t have time so she gets dressed really quickly in something casual. Allison comes down, meets James and he gives her a flower. His job is to spoil her today. James is going to have breakfast with Allison but she says she ants five minutes to get ready. He offers to boil water for tea and asks what her favorite flavor is.
Christina is on the phone talking to her Mom and asking for some more professional clothes to be sent up. She gets a beep and finds out it is Allison’s Mom. She tells Allison’s Mom she doesn’t think she’s there but her Mom stresses she needs to talk to Allison. Christina knows that Allison doesn’t want to talk to her mom but feels Allison’s mom is being really pushy. Lisa goes to tell Allison that her mom is on the phone and feels that Allison doesn’t want to be brought down today. Lisa tells Allison’s mom that Allison is getting ready for a date and asks to take a message but Allison's mom doesn’t leave one.
TJ is asking James what he has planned for today. He says he has breakfast and then he wants to show her what it’s like being spoiled by a nice safe guy. We see Allison getting ready. Alison comes down and TJ and Jessica leave them alone. James says the other two helped him get everything ready, then toasts with Allison that they will have a really great day. James is there to prove there are good guys out there and they aren’t all jerks. He feels that guys get a bad rep and Allison admits she’s been guilty of calling all men jerks. His intentions are to have fun, develop trust and give an experience of unconditional love. They pose for pictures and then he leaves stating he’ll be back later.
DR. Stan meets with Christina. He pulls the plastic off cardboard and it shows a silhouette on a colored background. Christina was a stripper, escort, and a chip hustler. She had different names for her different personalities. On the orange one she wrote her name for the chip hustler, which is Kacey. The stripper was Carly and the escort was Genesis. Kacey’s personality was slutty, outgoing and talkative because she felt the needed to just walk up to the table and have the guts to talk to everyone. With Carly she played the sweet innocent stripper. Genesis had a more business courageous personality. Dr. Stan asks if she is addicted to the behaviors and Christina says she liked being who she wanted it to be. The money she earned was addictive. Dr. Stan asks what will happen if she has a job working $8 and hour but decides she wants new clothes and points out that she could turn one trick in one night and have a new wardrobe. Christina just sits and smiles.
Jessica goes up and ask Allison how her date went. Allison says he’s cute. They talk about last night and the cleaning and TJ tells Allison she feels as if she is failing as her accountability partner. Allison says she will work harder. TJ tells Allison she needs to know when Allison feels she is out of control. Allison asks about drinking too much but then doesn’t want to discuss it. TJ tells her that as some point they will have to discuss it. Allison is busy folding a towel. TJ asks Allison if she ruined her special day with her beau and Allison says I don’t know.
Rhonda meets with Jessica and they have a video camera and TV. Jessica has had problems with reporters in the past so today Rhonda wants Jessica to feel more comfortable. A media consultant will be coming to the SO house and Jessica will be having a mock press conference. Jessica doesn’t know her roommates will be mock aggressive reporters. Mark Burnheimer worked at CNN and he will work with her. Jessica is dreading today’s session. She is terrified and unsafe. Mark comes in and meets with Jessica and tells Rhonda he will be gentle. He tells Jessica that media trainers help people like Jessica feel more comfortable in front of the camera. He deals with anybody that has issues with the media. Most important is the need to feel prepared. He tells her she will go on camera in a few minutes and that he will treat her with sensitivity and respect so she doesn’t have to worry about being attacked but only about being prepared. They run through a very brief interview. She isn’t happy or comfortable now but he promises that at the end she will be happy to have that skill set. She saw families get attacked after the 911 attacks for using the tragedy to promote their political agendas. If she opens herself up about the feelings, about the war, administration, politics and terrorism. She will be asked tougher questions.
Christina tells Dr. Stan that she has feelings she could strip and go shop. If she is addicted to the personalities and behaviors she needs to figure out healthy ways to learn what to do when the unhealthy behavior looks attractive. She is to write the positive about each personality trait in green and the negative in red on the boards. Dr. Stan wants Christina to visually look and see what made those personalities function. If Christina doesn’t acknowledge the nature and extent of these problems and how much positive reinforcement she got for being in this business she’s destined to return to it.
Back to Jessica. She is to just look at Mark and forget about the cameras. His first question is what goes through your mind and the mind of other families on September 11th. Jessica thinks the anxiety and dread start to surface. Does she think the way the US government ahs gone about addressing Sept 11th been the right approach? Jessica in confessional says she’s struggling with what to say. She’s uncomfortable and doesn’t like to use death as a platform to discuss ehr own views. Her answer is no, she doesn’t think the government has gone the right way in addressing the September 11th aftermath. What would she tell President Bush? Jessica would tell him to listen more to the families affected. What would your Mom want you to be doing? Jessica says her Mom was extremely patriotic and was a preacher of peace with her Mom dying in a horrific hateful way Jessica feels she would want it to end. When Jessica starts feeling uncomfortable she starts to whisper. The #1 complaint about the media is being taken out of context so speak full complete sentences that contain an element of the question asked. She is also talking too casually about serious important things. She needs to find a balance to show her strong feelings. Jessica claims it was helpful. Mark says it was brief but he feels she made tremendous improvement and said he will look at the news conference to see how she does.
Iyanla comes in for group saying Buenos Diaz wearing a shimmery purple outfit. Iyanla asks how everyone is doing and she hears a few good comments. Allison states she has a boyfriend and BooBoo is here. She says he is sweet and cute. Iyanla tells Allison that’s not what she sees in her face and Allison says she has challenges today. Allison tells Iyanla that the housemates are worried about her abuse of cleaning too much and drinking too much. Allison has to figure out what to do with ehr Mom and BooBoo is here and her housemates are bringing challenges and she doesn’t wan to deal with it today. Iyanla asks if there is anger and Allison is upset because her whole mood has changed. She was trying to stay happy with BooBoo but Iyanla tells her she needs to talk to him to work it out and help her with what he is standing in. Part of relationships is to trust in him and stand with him through the good and bad times. That is what partners do. Allison says she’s just really mad about this day. Allison says she’s tired of everything. Iyanla says it’s not tired but fear of not doing it right. Allison needs to surrender. TJ tells the group she feels she is failing miserably as Allison’s accountability partner and begs Allison to let her help her. Iyanla says that they have been accountability partners now for over a week and she has an opportunity for them today to be accountable, responsible, and be committed. She has a total experience of that in a brand new way. She goes to get that opportunity and it is a black dog named Mr. Ozzie. The ladies all coo over him. Iyanla gives them his bag of tricks. Lisa reads the rules.
1. He must be on a leash when outside or on a walk so he doesn’t run off.
2. Must be fed three times a day.
3. Mr. Ozzie needs lots of attention otherwise he will whimper and cry.
4. Mr. Ozzie will have accidents if not let outside to go to the bathroom.
5. Mr. Ozzie is very curious and likes to explore so please take him with you.
6. Please get some Advantix flea drops at the store.
7. Please give treats if he does tricks on command.
Iyanla says she doesn’t know ho long Mr. Ozzie will be here but trusts the ladies will create a viable working experience with all the ladies involved. Iyanla tells Mr. Ozzie that she is leaving him in the care of these delightful women and to treat them well.
We see everyone interact with Mr. Ozzie. Allison’s boyfriend comes by and they chat. James says he feels comfortable and sees a survivor in Allison and wants her to see how beautiful she is. He offers to massage her shoulders. She says he’s a man, not a paid masseuse and she’s allowing him to touch her so that’s good.
We see Christina going over her traits and al of them seem to have a sneaky trait she never noticed before.
James leaves and Allison says she’ll see him at 5:30.
TJ says Mr Ozzie is gone. TJ has been looking for him. They thought he was with Jill and Lisa. We see Christina. TJ and Jessica are looking around. Jessica thinks it’s sad that they’ve had him one hour and already he’s lost. Jessica says it just shows they aren’t as responsible as they thought they were. Christina is looking outside for Mr Ozzie and she says their screwed. Allison finds him outside. They all think they should keep him leashed.
Jessica and TJ take Mr. Ozzie shopping at a pet shore for the Advantix. They see puppies and pick out an outfit for Mr. Ozzie.
Iyanla asks Allison if she has ever been intimate, not just sexual, with a man and Allison doesn’t think so. One of her hurdles is to tell them she’s had cancer, reconstruction, no nipples and won’t have children. Allison laughs and says that’s a lot. Iyanla tells Allison they need to go there and tell James. They’ve been together and Allison only told him abut the cancer but she needs to tell him all of it. Allison says Iyanla is giving it all to her today and Iyanla says she’ is going to ride her like a horse.
TJ and Jessica are back with Mr. Ozzie and they go to find the SOG’s to show off his new outfit. It looks like jeanjacket over a red shirt and he looks super cute.
Christina shows Dr. Stan her traits. Christina puts off what the alternate personalities are instead of taking responsibility for her own behavior. They discuss the negative in Kasey. The negative traits are sneaky, liar, attitude, two-faced, con-artist, manipulative, scared and cunning. Positives are problem solving, creative, bold, courageous, people person, outgoing, persistent, motivated. He asks how she dealt with the negative and she feels she wasn’t any of those at all. Karly the stripper was insensitive, ruthless, cocky, big headed and had an ego. Genesis the escort was backstabbing and cheating the big boss, cunning, liar and sneaky. She would ditch after getting the money if she could. Dr. Stan asks what happened to the guilt when she was unethical and she says it was there but she didn’t listen to it. Christina said the men deserved it because they were cheating on their wives and stupid enough to leave her alone and she was out of there. The positives were she was an entrapaneuer, fearless, bold, gutsy, negotiator and cut deals. Dr. Stan is blown away because he sees a sweet woman and now wonders if he has been getting conned. Christina say she's not any of those people and Stan is shocked because that is Christina and the way she acted. He is wondering why she is giving it up because she didn’t like who she was, wasn’t happy and she hated herself. She was wanted by men, envied by women and an icon. That was a powerful time in her life and Dr. Stan wants her to talk about the positives to see how to heal. Now Dr. Stan wants her to put the positive traits from three to make her profile.
TJ yells Are we starting and wants to know if it s happening soon. Jill is the MC for Jessica’s press conference. TJ has been given the role of combative reporter. Jill thanks them all for coming and introduces Jesica, who’s mom was on flight 11. Rhonda in confessional states that she asked the housemates to be aggressive and wonders if Jessica can keep composure under pressure. Jessica steps up to the podium. TJ asks what people not understand about losing a loved one on a national tragedy. Jessica thinks on eof the most challenging aspects about losing someone in 9/11 is that it is a historic world event. TJ asks if Jessica feels she is a part of history and Jessica responds that it is a part of history. Jessica say sin confessional that she was a little caught off guard her housemates were prepped for the press conference. Lisa asks if the country has been desensitized in the last four years when it has been a challenge for Jessica. Jessica says no because she’s still amazed by the amount of support and love she gets from complete strangers. When someone finds out her story they want to embrace her and that shows her it is still touching and affecting everyone. Jill asks if it has been difficult and Jessica states it has been extremely difficult to recover. Jill asks how do you (recover)? Jessica tells them that grieving is an ongoing process and she doesn’t know if anyone can recover. TJ says that it sounds as if 9/11 has affected her political views. Jessica says in confessional that TJ is really pushing her on subjects she didn’t prepare for and stuff she’s not comfortable with. Jessica says she has utmost compassion for our troops and she holds the highest regard for them putting their lives on the line every day. However, she finds it insulting they are justifying the war with her mom’s death when that has nothing to do with her mom dying.
We see Allison out with her boyfriend of the day at a restaurant. He wants to talk first and asks if Allison feels like the cancer takes away from her beauty. Allison explains she had a hysterectomy and right breast removal and reconstruction and scars everywhere. She tells him she can’t have children because she lost her complete womb. She says it’s hard on top of not dating in seven years. He thanks her for her sharing and says that’s an opening for them. They smile and laugh and he takes this really well. He’s a very nice guy.
Jessica tells the SOG’s that she had strong political views before and after. She believes in human rights, civil liberties, democracy and the war and 9/11 bring a lot of those issues to the front. Jessica in confessional states she is amazed how comfortable she is beginning to feel and how confident she is in what she’s saying. She says it’s empowering to finally feel she has control and can exp4ress her views and thoughts. Jill thanks everyone for coming to the starting line and Jessica gets hugs.
James gives Allison a hug and tells her they had a great day and have an incredible sleep. He says he’ll be with her, good night and sweet dreams. Allison had a good time with James and it was nice to have some joy today. James was the first guy she told about the hysterectomy and she told him everything.
Christina is telling the ladies about the different names she used when stripping and escorting and that she had blond hair then. She says she wishes she could show them pictures on the internet and Christina tells them the pics are still up there. They all agree that they should try and see and the pictures come up. She brings up the pics and Jessica laughs that she looks so different. Jessica says in confessional that normally Christina usually resists her past and she is excited she is finally being open but she is conflicted because Christina is trying to leave that past but she’s in the house where she gets more exposure and that can’t be a good thing.
