I have read the posts from the other threads concerning Karrine and gone to the websites given there. In looking at those websites I can't imagine who choose this woman to be a mentor for Christina. What Karrine has said to Christina about walking away from all the contacts etc., doesn't appear to be what SHE has done.

It is hard for me to believe that Iylana choose this woman to be Christina's mentor--knowing of these websites. It seems like someone just dropped the ball and didn't check out their sources. Al least I HOPE that's what happened and that this wasn't done for drama!

I agree 100% with you asparagus. I also believe that Karrine is a very bad choice for a mentor for Christina. I think that all of the glamour and glitz of fame and being around people with money is too much fantasy for a girl of 20 who is trying to start her life over. I don't want Christina to fail, but they are going to have to find a more realistic perrson to match Christina with especially after Karrine invited Christina to help her with her next book.

I have this horrible feeling that a train wreck is on the horizon. I hope I am wrong.

I remember watching Karrine when she was at the house with Christina and feeling she was acting a role. She seemed too concerned with her appearance as she was talking that it took away from what was coming out of her mouth. The batting of the eyelids, the positioning of the lips, the soft spokenness. Seemed like pasted on sexiness to me. I had an "hm" in my gut

Oh yeah, I think she is definitely a part of this show so she can "sell" her book, self, etc. Isn't that exactly what she said she does NOT do anymore? And that Christina can work for her? To what? Stay in that whole glamour, sexy life and capitalize and actually act proud of your past? They both have children, how awful to see those types of pics and read about those activities from the children's perspective. Or friends and family members, especially as they get older! There is a HUGE difference between doing what you have to do to survive and then turning your life around, and selling and profiting by it!!

It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out. This has got to be one of more emotional starting over seasons, filled with so much drama. But it keeps us coming back each and every day. I hope and pray Karrine is able to help Christina turn her life around, without doing her more harm than good. I always like to see the good in people, the more optimistic side, hope i'm not wrong this time. Because it surely would be a shame to see Christina worse off than she was before, if that is even possible. For Jackson's sake, I hope she continues with her exercises, is COMPLETELY honest about her past, lying all the cards on the table, and striving to become that woman of honor. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, even Christina, just hope she doesn't blow it. I don't think the lc's are going to take much more from these women in the s.o. house.
