Starting Over Talk - Peer Coaching Support Site

I posted this on Rhonda's site last week and thought I would share it with you guys, too. Since it was last week when I talked to her, "today" means last Thursday.

Oh my holy goodness...I am so very honored that I got to talk to Rhonda today. Rhonda was interviewed on Voice America this morning and I called in with a question. She was excellent! My question was about my weight loss journey. I told her that my biggest fear with losing weight is that I will fail again. She gave me great encouragement and a great assignment to do, (which I have already started), to help me with my fear and my image of myself. She also shared some of her accomplishments regarding her own weight and body. She looks amazing and absolutely adorable on her new book cover.

I have been on Cloud 9 all day long and I am that much more encouraged and that much more determined to succeed at losing weight because of the words Rhonda shared with me today. She said, "Love yourself Selena is the answer, not losing weight, that will come automatically." I always thought that I had to lose the weight first and then I would love myself, but now I know it's the other way around and it makes sense. Great for you, you sound like a woman who could really use the benefits of the house it is a shame that they donot have in this season women like you, Great for you and never meeting you HORRAH for you there are so many chalanges to weight loss that people never think of so keep your smile on Love yourself and just remember today is the tommorrow you worried about yesterday, one of the statements I made up when I was doing the weightloss thing is " Cover the mirror and open the door" meaning if you alway's look at what you were yesterday it is hard to see what you will be tommorrow so cover that mirror and open that door or window tommorrow is a great day yesterday isn't there anymore you cannot do it over ever but tommorrow you can! I started watching "Starting Over" about 3 houses ago. I am totally hooked!!! How did y'all feel about today's show? I feel aweful for TJ!!! I really think she is great!!! She has come SOOOO far!!! Yes, I admit that she was trying to be a bit of a life coach for Al--but, ya know--it worked and I think she really got the point and the other women did not. And, it gave Al the perfect situation to become real--and it happened that her LC was there to help her be real!!!! Great! And, now, TJ suffers--sucks for her. TJ really has a heart of gold--and she could be Al's greatest gift.

And, what about Jessica??? She just through TJ out to the dogs!! Some loyal friend she is!

I am glad she has come to accept that the day her mother died was about more than her mother. I know that sounds mean--but, that is reality.

I always thought Christina had it together, but she is showing her true colors in manipulating the whole house to choose an escape goat, TJ. She was being good for a while--but, those days are over. Look how quickly the other women go from being "women of honor" in their communication with others to acting like school girls. Discusting.

Lisa drives me nuts! I remember when they all went to dinner and talked about what a prostitute was --she is the biggest prostitute there! Maybe Christina was an escort etc--but, for about how long compaired to Lisa who has basically whored herself out for 20+ years.

And, Al--who doesn't love Al? I wonder how things will turn out for her?

I was proud of Jill in not dogging TJ when everyone else was willing to throw there darts and see where they landed.

I think the LCs are great--I can't wait to see what they think of the whole deal!!!!
