I need help with my daughter.... 2 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 16  
Hi Guys...
I was hoping somone would have an answer here for me. I sent my older daughter who is 6 1/2 with her grandparents to California for the weekend she will be back Monday. However I am dealing with my special needs child who has OCD/ ADD and medical issues. Right now she is focused in on the fact that her "Annie" isn't home and keeps saying "I miss annie". I know this is normal; however: right now she has been saying it straight since last night when Annie left. What I need help with is getting her mond off the fact that her sister is gone and woun't be back until monday.

right now I feel like this and want to feel more like this

My goodness! I wouldn't venture a guess. Do you have any special plans for mommy and special needs child this weekend? Someway of making this time just for the two of you? Do you have any support people with knowledge of her issues who may have ideas? Is computer play a viable option? If so, I've built a couple of sites for my daughter and nephews full of games and printable colour pages and such to keep them busy. I'd be glad to pm the addresses to you if you'd like. Let me know.

You got it...I just pm'd you some sites...have fun


try this too...google "coloring pages" or "print games" using the image search

the internet is a wealth of activities for kids...that's another term BTW "print activities" LOL
