I agree - she needs to take responsibility for her own actions. You can't go blaming every mistake you made on your father - it's a cop out.

I don't see her blaming her father. Her relationship with her father is one of many factors that lead her to make the choices she made. I think it's actually very healthy for her to make the realization that there is a connection between how she was treated by her father and her relationship with men.

I found the session with Dr Stan very touching.


I'm not seeing how she is copping out my making this connection.

i agree,if i was to listen to my father growing up i would be a hooker,and no good,but i did not become a hooker i thought i was better then that.even though my father has nothing to do with me since i was 17.so she should take resonsablity for her own actions.
