I think if we look at all of the ladies, many of them are still struggling with changing behaviors, so in my mind, TJ falls into this category also. She has some great times where she is actually a comfort to someone (ie: Jessica today) and also times where she definitely needs to put into practice the thinking before she speaks (ie: Christina's lack of high school completion). This would have been a perfect time for Christina to confront TJ (with support from the others that were present) in an appropriate and helpful way. I think this truly is an example of why the housemates all deserved that "C" grade; they are not supporting/confronting/helping each other! Even though they were told the volleyball net was a team exercise...they all still worked as individuals. But I do have a lot of hope that they can get it and really help each other!

WELL SAID!!!!!!!

Maybe you could define "soft" and tell us what you mean?

Perhaps you haven't had any experience with mentally disabled people, and in that case I forgive your ignorance, but they need a special kind of "mentoring". My sister is mentally disabled and I would NEVER want someone like her "mentoring" my sister. [/quote]

I was asking a question, jackiballz and I object to you calling me ignorant. You did not, however, answer my question. My question still stands.

What do you not understand? Do you think you treat menatlly disbled people the same way you do "normal" people? Somewhere in your head you must realise that its a different set of circumstances. One must be a little kinder or gentler inmentoring a mentally disabled person. How Iyanla mentors the SO people would hardly be an appropriate way to mentor a mentally disabled person....understand????:pinch: :S

Christine and Jessica act like teenagers whispering behind the bleachers. They could lovingly confront TJ and that would help the both of them.

I agree with you. I think that TJ would be better at speaking to the other HG's if she was given more feedback. If she was able to recognize on her own her inappropriate words she would be closer to graduation. She has not used the tools very long and needs her Housemates to be more supportive.

Christina ought to give TJ the feedback she's been asking her for. Rather than accuse TJ of "attacking" her, then clam up and let the issue fester. Instead, Christina uses "boudaries" as a defense mechanism to get out
settling this matter once and for all. I hope Christina nips her defensiveness in the bud, before she starts remiding me of Tess!
