I think this was a very insensitive exercise and a very mean thing to do to Christine. Yes, maybe something like this COULD happen in real life but also - how many times does a guy try to hit on a good-looking woman with that or some other line similar just as a way to get to start a conversation - the fact that Christine may have been a stripper, prostitute or whatever is not necessary the ONLY reason why a guy would approach her - her youth and good-looks alone will be incentive enough to be approached by some guy - this so-called stalker type therapy made me sick and was totally unfair to put Christine on the spot like that - even worse was LISA's reaction - she gleaned such pleasure (in such a sick way) from Christine's uncomfortableness - Lisa is really sickening and I just wish the SO House would realize the BIG mistake they made in allowing Lisa entry to the house and TELL her to LEAVE immediately.

I had an ex-sis-in-law in "the field" and she was approached all the time...didn't matter who she was with. It is a realistic exercise.

I think the exercise was a good one for Christina. She needed to learn what to say in case that happen in real life and also how to be assertive.

I agree completely - nothing wrong with practicing.
The reason we don't practice is because it's uncomfortable. Move THROUGH the discomfort - not away from it.

No matter how far Christina grows from her experience, she will always have it in her history.

I think it was a good exercise for her to have in the SO house environment.

This is one of the examples where I really see the life coaches really caring for the woman before they leave the house and preparing them for it.

I guess, then, that it would be a good exercise for any good-looking woman - I don't think humiliation is the way to 'help' someone and that's what I see them doing to Christina - and some housemates - namely Lisa, seem to get too much pleasure in Christina's discomfort and that is very unsettling. I know they are trying to help Christina see that certain activity from her 'past' life can come back, at any time, to haunt her but why not have an exercise with ALL the women in showing them how to deal with unwanted or unsolicited advances from strange men - again, this happens even to women who have never hooked or stripped.
