Is it possible Dr. Stan has been absent because he had to appear at the Michael Jackson trial? Not sure if the taping would have been around that time.

No, the Michael Jackson trial concluded in June. We know that this is in September, so the trial had already been long over by this time on the show.

I just saw Dr. Stan on an episode of Blind Date I usually don't watch it but was flipping thru the channels and saw him on there. Maybe he has been doing other projects. If they moved out of the LA area it made be harder for him to make it to teh house.
