I agree with the other posters, maybe you could make this a special time for you and your child. I have three children and when two go away I see it as a great time to get to know the one left behind. The weekend is over but I hope all went well for you!

It must be agonizing to be on the outside of your child's disorders! I have OCD also and I think it drives my husband and son crazy that they cannot fix what I have or even figure out how I rationalize my way in the world. What type of OCD does she have? Could the constant repeating have been a way to relieve anxiety? I did not have any symptoms of OCD until 2000. It hit all of a sudden. I don't know how difficult it would have been to be a child with OCD, not to mention anything else compounding it!

My family will pray for yours, all of you. This is a family situation. Bless you for your patience!

My daughter was born with a brain injury. Right now she repeats everything and has to wash constantly anything and everything that gets dirty.
