It's the whole format of the show, it's not just the coaches. The "editting" we see is just the "shocking" stuff, not the nurturing/helping conversations. Don't see any growth in any of these women. They're stuck doing it for themselves with little guidelines and lots of criticism. Maybe it's a change in production trying to grab ratings, but it's not working.

She is Iyanla. Unique like the rest of the world. I wouldn't want to watch two Rhondas.

It has become very soap opera-ish. No wonder I don't watch those insult-the-audience's-intelligence dramas.

I do however see a difference in the realtionship between her and Rhonda and Dr. Stan. That seems odd. I don't know if that is a production change, or what. But there used to be more unity among those three. Now everything is show separate. I don't like that aspect of it.

Probably because Iyanla has her own thing going on in Maryland and can't be in California 7 days a week.

I watched the show yesterday and today and really found it boring without Iyanla.

Yes, Iyanla is definitely more interesting than Rhonda. Both of them this season have been all over the map, very inconsistent. Tara had mentioned a rumor on another thread saying that Iyanla might be leaving at the end of this season. I wonder if there are some philosophical differences.

I've noticed overall that Iyanla, Rhonda, and Dr. Stan have all become more hardened.

Also, lately they've all been pretty scarce.
