Hugs, I have seen this volcano mentioned in the Headlines! Yesterday it was on my Home Page and today on the front page of the newspaper.

So far it has "steamed" w/ash and rumbling under there believing it to erupt again. Said causes were from all the hurricanes/weather issues that shake it up!!! Amazing! The newspaper article had Washington as the state...sorry I don't know but is it located in Washington or Canada?

Your daughter should be okay & others but you mentioned that "ash"& that could truly pose a danger to all nearby!

Ash aan cause problem t anyone who has a breathing problem. It is located on teh border between oregon and washington state. It is just north of portland oregon. Planes can't fly near the mountian because it can get in their engines and bring them down.

I too believe in infinite time. God was, is, and always will be. There are two choices, evolution and creation. I believe creation, and the truths of the Bible. It's beyond my understanding that the diverse earth and the creatures that live here came about by random chance.

I believe in an all-knowing God who has created this universe, all with a purpose in mind. Two references that support the Biblical approach I teach to my children are "The Young Earth", by John D. Morris, and "Those Mysterious Dinosuars, A Biblical Approach for Children, their parents and their teachers", by Norma A. Whitcomb.

I will have to check into those books. When my youngest daughter Amy was little she always said she doesn't believe in dinosaurs. She is a devoted christian. If she hasn't already read those books she would be interested in that perspective.

Currently Amy is in Australia. She is attending YWAM, Youth With a Mission. She is doing her DTS, Disciple Training School, in Brisbane. She has been there since August 2, and she comes home Feb. 2. She is having the experience of a life time. I will try to put her picture where my dog quilt is. But I will put that back after.

I sure hope what they are saying about no one will get hurt this time when
Mount St.Helens blows her stackis true
I could not believe the visitors who were upset because they were trying too move them back too be safe
Guess they never read or head how bad the last erruption was :blink
Spoke with my daughter again and she feels they are in no way in danger.
Even the ash should not pose a threat she says..
They spoke with many around the new home they bought and it has something too do with the mountains around where they are
Will sleep better now!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks too everyone who said a prayer for my daughter, I made the trip up too my other daughters this weekend. Needed too be around the kids and grandson
Told my other daughter though I still want her back in Ontario she just laughed and said LOVE YOU TOO MOM

That's good Hugs, glad you were able to go see the other part of your family & talk to your daughter! Good.

Again, where is it that our daughter lives? the one near the volcano?
