Thanks so much for sharing. It was interesting. Did anyone else see Simon cross himself at the dining room table today before he ate?? That is so far from being Muslim. I find Simon to give off such mixed messages. But I guess what bothers me the most is how these two blindly stepped into marriage and parenthood without discussing the basics. For them to be this far in their relationship and him still think he owns her body and that he can tell her what to wear and what not to wear. Kacie on the other hand appears like she jumped into a marriage just to escape her horrible childhood. Unfortunately, these 2 have so many HUGE issues to get through and they already have brought another life into the picutre. That to me is very selfish and irresponsible.
It appears that Kacie is genuine in wanting to resolve the things that drove the 2 of them apart. Simon on the other hand seems to have this silent control thing going on.....kind of like I came here, what else do you want from me. He is so at ease with the other men in the house but the minute Kacie comes into the scene you can just see that jaw line of his clench. Kacie is not the only one who finds Simon's eyes scarey. There is something about Simon that just doesn't sit well with me. JMHO I truly hope that Kacie finds the strength to express herself honestly and whoever she lives the rest of her life with, I hope she find the happiness she is lacking.

Luck has little to do with relationships! It is a lot of hard work and devotion to make a marriage work, but is definitely worth it! My husband and I are happily married. I was making references in my previous post about the struggles there are to make it work with cultural and religious differences and how hard the first couple years of our marriage were. We have gotten through a lot of bumps in the road like even most american/american marriages except we had different bumps that most people don't know about and wanted to share those so viewers who don't know the difficulty of two different cultures coming as one in marriage. Don't hold your breath for my husband and I to appear on Starting Over! Yes we hit bumps in the road and yes we still come across issues, but we know that communication is the key and that is how we have gotten through so much and are still together!

I don't think I could live like that. That kind of control is frightening to me. Kacie has admitted that she lives in terror. That speaks volumes to me.

I think you've got something there! While sharing their story the other day, Simon said their relationship began eight years ago. When Kacie was only 18!

This is because, as she told iyania, when Simon gets angry, it shows in his eyes. And, it makes her feel unsafe. Because, his "angry" eyes look, to her, the same as the eyes of the man who molested her when she was living in a foster home.

Simon and Kacie are gonna rize up everything. Everybody only wanna point out whats wrong with them. We are all hypocrites........what about what is wrong with us??????? I honor all these Individuals courage going on this show 2 make a difference in their own lives as well as all the viewers.......... Go get emmmmmmmmm Tiger
