Say, is that Rana's voice in the intro, saying "It's A Girl" ?
Towanda is crying at Review Board. She gets a C!! I thought that was harsh. Iyanla said Towanda came into the house, assuming that it was an unsafe place. Iyanla abhors violence to women, even when they inflict it on themselves. She said it is violent to deny yourself the love of the houseguests, and Towanda has not revealed her self to the women. Called what Towanda is doing emotional, spiritual suicide.
Wow! Her next assignment is to write her autobiography. My mom wrote her memoirs. Is that the same thing?
Towanda talked with her hubby on the phone. He said he did not miss her, and if she didn't come home, he will file for divorce. He thinks her exercises are bull. More harshness!!
Kim and Sommer fight about the makeup issue. Josie gets in on it, and follows Kim around the house, and fights with her. Josie tells Kim to drop it.
Towanda said getting the C was a minor setback, and she will really work hard now.
Rhonda and Sommer meet. Sommer is to see a workout coach today. Sommer realizes she is afraid of failure, so she really doesn't fully try. Rhonda thinks it is she is afraid of losing love. If the fat was her excuse, and she loses the fat, and still she has not found love, is she even worth loving?
Rhonda wants Sinae and Jennifer to learn the concept of interdependence. Not independence, or codependency. She wants them to see you can be connected with someone, without one person doing all the work. Sinae called her mom and invited her to the house. Jennifer does not like to get messy, and Rhonda wants her to finger-paint, draw with markers, something. She is to take the girls out for a fun night, but it is a secret to us and the rest of the house. Rhonda said Jennifer understands the exercises, but until she has a change of heart, she can't lose the necklace. Jennifer is upset that Kim complains, and she gets her makeup back. She believes Iyanla coddles Kim, like the way her mom treats her sister. She thinks maybe if she throws a fit, she can get some results. Rhonda said you get pissed enough to do something different. Boy, these girls need more tools!
Towanda calls her father to ask what the pregnancy was like with her, and how she was like as a child. He said she was mean.
Sommer shares her medical history, and gets a workout at the gym. The coach said she has a light about her, and a good attitude and personality. He is excited to work with her.
Stan met with the ladies in group. He wanted to know how they deal with disagreements. Josie is mad, and Stan said the real issues are trust, self-esteem, and confrontation. He wanted the ladies to control the conflicts, and to drop the makeup issue.
Jennifer took the ladies to a race track. There are Indy cars, on a straight track, that people can ride, like an amusement ride. The ladies had fun. Towanda was stressed, and not herself. She got a chance to talk to Kim and tell her what her husband said to her earlier.
Next week, Towanda is getting in touch with her anger, Kim is finding her way, Jennifer is dealing with her past. Josie feels horrible, and Sinae says how can anyone love me, I don't want to be a burden.
