maybe it is just me but I am having a hard time "understanding" this couple. Are they in the house to get help or show how they are the "hurting" one??

Kacie and Simom might go on to resolve their differences, but she still has to deal with the fact that his family does not want this marriage, for this Simon has to stand up to his family and let them know that Kacie is the one he will be with. Simon and Kacie were not arranged, that is obvious. She is African American and he is Pakistani, she is outgoing and not conservative, and he was raised within a culture that views woman as second class.
