I agree. I hope that if they don't clean the car they kick them out. I think they need to be more strict this season about the rules. Lou was great at looking "sensitive" and being the self appointed leader of everything until any real work came along!

Maybe Lou knew the answers because its scripted???? What do you think??

There was more than one message in this assignment. One, it showed them how bad a marriage can get on the inside. Two, it gave them the opportunity to prove that they WOULD go to any lengths to make it right. The car was the marriage.

Lou showed that he understood how bad the marriage could get. But, he showed that he WASN'T willing to do what it took to make the marriage right.

From the previews, I think he just gets put on probation. But I do agree with all of you who said this marriage is doomed.

I don't think the show is scripted, because they wouldn't have let Lou say "fruitcakes" or would they?

I was thinking about this and thinking what would make someone have a reaction like that, and I wonder if he has a slight clase of OCD. He repeatedly said that he "was clean". He's not "touching the muck with his hands". Maybe he was having anxiety about it and rather than having to say that he has OCD he made it about "getting it". People have different defense mechanisms to keep themselves mentally safe. There just seems to be some behavior that could indicate the condition. I am also considering the fact that he seems to be a bit of a neat freak. He was so meticulous in making his bed and he is always so personally well groomed. Also, if he feels that Jennifer has control over everything in his life and he doesn't even rank on her top 10 list, maybe it stems from him only having control over himself and it comes out in how clean and groomed he is. I don't know it was just a thought I had.

Interesting how Lou kicked about doing his assignment, and because it involved all the rest of them they are making it a big deal (I think he should just do it and shut up - geeez it is not THAT big of a deal). BUT.....Michael was also given an assignment to cook for everyone and he flat out refused and Iylana just told him from now on do the assignment. No big deal was made of it!!!

Seems that if a rule is stretched for one, why not for all????
