Kacie did slow down the process on the dance floor with her critisisms on Simon's dancing. I think we're going to see Kacie resist more than Simon, simply because she is not ready to trust him yet. And that is on her - as difficult as Simon is.
I don't think we should pity Kacie too much in the relationship (her past, yes, absolutely) because her fear and distrust triggers a lot of bad behaviour in Simon, the same way he triggers fear in her.
As Iyania pointed out to her today, Kacie needs to understand that men don't think and react like women. Kacie mistakes being agreed with for being understood. If Simon disagrees with Kacie, she whines on and on that he doesn't understand her. She just won't let up. So, Simon starts tuning her out. Just like a man!
