I'm sorry if anyone thinks I am a spoilsport, but when I saw that this topic was re-visited, I just have to speak my peace. I have had Chron's disease for 35 years. I have alot of complications that just are not "table talk" if you know what I mean. I can't tell you the countless times that I have farted or someone else in the public bathroom made awful comments to me about things that I cannot control. Even my family still doesnt get it after 35 years, that the teasing and joking about farting are extremely hurtful.
Who cares if she farted. WE all do and if you think you don't you are delusional.
Anyway, lets put this topic to rest. I quit the original site because of this thread and have found a lovely group of people here, only to find its OK to make fun of people.
And the fact that autographs are requested from the originator makes me want to throw up.
I thought I had found a safe home here.

PHOTOGIRL okay look! No one here on this thread is making "awful comments"! You come across as very angry at your condition. I understand that but please do not come here and start to pick apart every thing that is posted.
Yes we all fart and yes it is not always at the best of times. But if you are treated badly, then think of a come back to those rude people.
We are not as you stated. If this is a posting that made you leave the first one.. I am sorry but we are the best of the best, and we also try and respect a posting made in jest. We did not attack her, we laughed at the situation.

I didnt say the women on this board were making awful comments. I have lived through people doing that to me.
I just dont think its a very funny comment. And for your information, I am just about done writing a book about living well with chronic illness, I have no anger, just hope for a cure and a distaste for people who laugh at people who fart. There are so many more things to talk about.

Remarks like that are not wanted here. No one post to go out of there way to hurt anyone.
AND sorry but I do laugh at a fart, and have had others laugh at me.Do I get mad! No way I can laugh at myself and not make a big deal about it. And yes I have farted since I was a child.
Please relax we are only human here and not out to hurt anyone.
