Definately a tear jerker, probably because I'm guilty of doing this when my children were young.

My mother always told my sister and me (mostly me) that friends come and go but family is always there for you. In my family that was a good thing not bad like in some other families that I know.

One time when I was a young mother, I looked at myself in the mirror as I pretented to yell at my kids and I saw just how ugly I appeared to them. It made me cry but more importantly is made me change.

It always hurts to know that you have caused a loved ones heart to break.

wow this sure gives you something to think about. but the sad thing is , is that it is true. they may always know we love them but do they always feel that we love them. knowing you are loved and feeling loved are very different. My goal is for my son to always feel my love because then I know he knows I love him too.

thanks for the reminder to slow down in our every day lives and enjoy our children while they are little because they are little for oh such a short time.
