BriarRose62 glad to hear your grandchildrens first day went well for them and you and your daughter.


I switched my hours so I will be home when mine comes home the first day of school . I love having him home and miss being part of his life. Like supermom said it is hard as the amount of time they spend under your supervision or any adult supervision dwindles. No more reports on how they behaved you just have to trust that you have taught them well.

Unfortunately I get reports all the time about Mathew's behavior!

Glad to hear school went well for the little one. Thanks for the update. Even though you weren't there in person your thoughts were there. That counts. you sound like a great grandma.

Day 2 she rode the bus for the first time. They had car seats on the bus too! The kids are having so much fun and I am feeling better about recomending preschool for them. My grand daughter is an only child who loves her cousins (most are younger then she is) but is having a great time with the socialization. She is telling me each day something she learned in school but I expect that will die down with time. Now, I'm waiting for those pictures for my fridge!

Oh BriarRose, that is so sweet..I can just picture their cute selves going on with their chests all out..How nice that they both had a good first day..Like Teach, as someone who has sat on both sides of the desk, Its definately harder on the adults! (I had diarreah a week before Megan went to Kindergarten, and then I followed the bus on the first day to make sure she made it from the bus INTO the school!...HELLO, Crazy Mom!)..You know as well as anyone that these milestones come oh so quickly...I'll bet you can hardly believe that YOUR babies baby is going to school! ...That is the next step for me I guess...grandkids..wow..I cant wait for the pictures on the fridge either...Enjoy that sweetness BriarRose
