BE PREPARED--GOOD SHOW AHEAD!!!!

Okay, now I see Jonathon's face is blurred in the beginning of the show. If I was paying attention, that would have told me what he thought about Chloe and Josie right from the start of season 2.

Iyanla met with the women, and they are tired. (Me, too!) Jennifer said she had a big day yesterday, and she had nightmares about being chased by butcher knives. She called her mom at 4 am, to talk about it. They thought it was from releasing all of those feelings yesterday.

Sinae's mom is coming for the day. She said she didn't care what her mom felt about her new independence. They all think she does care, and should just be honest with her mom about her feelings.

Kim reaches two steps, self-awareness, removing the mask. Iyanla tells the camera the next steps will be the hardest for her.

Kim, Jennifer, and Towanda all have sister issues. Towanda said a sister is placed in your life permanently, and should always be there for you. Her sister Tamar signed a record contract behind the family's back. Towanda was very hurt by this. (I just read in the Bible where Tamar, David's daughter, got raped by her brother!)

Kim said a sister is someone you can count on, lean on, and will be there for you when all else fails. In her casting interview, she told how she raised her little sister. She was really dolled up then!! Jennifer wants a sister to laugh and cry with, and to lean on each other. They have the assignment to just think of their sister today.

Sinae's mom, Billie, comes to the house. Towanda says she is sweet, and Rhonda and Billie go off on their own. Sinae will use the bus system and the cabs, and go to her friend Natalie's, as well as go out to eat.

Josie met with Smooch, a Communications Specialist. Did I get that name right, ladies? She wanted Josie to consider how she is packaged, and what message she sends. She said she should like who she is, and if she is not okay, Chloe will never be okay. What Rhonda wanted to be constructive ideas for Josie, she took as an attack, and did not take the suggestions well.

Sinae saw Natalie, and her mom really started to see how Sinae could live an independent life. The go out to eat and Sinae has to ask some questions. Billie wishes for her daughter happiness, a career, marriage, and children. Her fear is that she will be in trouble, and no one will be there to help her. She sees herself as Grandma, driving her daughter and grandchildren to the park. Sinae said, don't you think we all can take the bus? Her mom said she didn't even think of that! She wants Sinae to be independent, but not left out of her life. Sinae said that won't happen, and they will still get together for shopping and lunch.

Kim tells Stan she and her sister had physical fights, and her sister just knew how to set her off. She said one time, a gift she gave to her nieces was thrown on her porch. When Kim's daughter tried to talk to her aunt, there was some bad words, and they haven't spoken since. Stan said she needs to reach out, and do everything possible to mend the relationship. If that doesn't work, she needs to let go.

Josie and Jennifer work out at a gym. A cute boy hits on Josie, and she doesn't even realize it.

Josie tells Stan about the gym and he says don't let your self-esteem be dictated by others. You don't need a man to feel good about yourself. Others in your life will see what you already know is true about how you see and love yourself. She has to have faith in herself, and like herself.

Iyanla is in a dark room with candles lit. Jennifer, Kim, and Towanda are sitting with her. She told the story of her sister that died. They used to be close. They did not speak for many years as adults. One day, after she was famous with her books and TV, she got a call that her sister died. She was sick, and specifically told everyone not to tell Iyanla she was sick. There arrogance, the need to be right, and there unwillingness to say they were sorry kept them apart until it was too late. Iyanla wants to save these women from this pain. It didn't matter who did what, it was lost time, and it can never be replaced. The ladies need to write, stamp, and mail a letter to their sisters tonight. It was very dramatic, and a powerful moment for them all.

Tomorrow, Josie is sad, Towanda looks at the possibilities of loss, and Kim receives an unwelcome surprise.

Re:Show Recap 10-15 4 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 12
Friday, 10-15

Today would have been Josie's grandma's birthday. It has been two years since she died. Towanda's husband is coming tomorrow. She reads her autobiography to Iyanla. She has her hair "off"- she took out the weave, and does put it back in with help from a friend. She was 6 weeks old when her mom got pregnant again. She never got the chance to be the baby.

Stan talks to Kim about her anxiety. When she was a teen, her right leg went numb, when the doctors couldn't find a medical reason for the condition, she was placed in a psychiatric hospital. They diagnosed her with hysterical conversion. I guess it is some disorder related to a physical problem, but with emotional problems. She has always labeled herself crazy. Stan said no, that is not true. That is when you can't distinguish fantasy from reality. He agrees she has issues, and problems to solve.

Iyanla has Towanda sing her pain about lack of attention, and love. She just makes up a song on the spot. Iyanla wants to help her husband deal with the changes that she is making.

Iyanla gives Kim some heavy rocks to represent broken relationships, and heavy books to represent her part in not doing all she could in those situations. She sees this is her burden, and is keeping her from healing. Iyanla called it relationship baggage.

Sommer has her shirt on inside out, and backwards(?) and is sitting eating a cheeseburger and fries, and all the while saying she shouldn't be doing it.

The ladies go to the beach. Rhonda sends them all to play in the sand except Josie. She has to list her mistakes, and put them on a picture of herself. (Nice shot! She looks like a movie star!) She made mistakes with Grandma, Grandpa, Jonathon, etc.
Rhonda wants the ladies to know their mistakes don't have to dictate their future.

The ladies come back to the table with Josie, and there are body paint containers on the table. Sinae, our junk food sweetie, thought it was pudding! For everything that Josie listed as mistakes, if it applied to any of the housemates too, they were to paint a bit on their bodies. Well, they all ended up paint, head to toe. Sommer was reluctant, because she knew they were going into the ocean to wash it off, and she didn't want to be in the water, didn't want to be in a bathing suit, just plain didn't want to be there at all.

Rhonda had a picnic with the ladies, and they all realized they shared more with each other than they ever realized. All the ladies went home, except Josie and Rhonda. Josie put a scoop of sand in a vase for every good gift her grandma taught her. The vase overflows, and they dump it back in the ocean. Josie realizes that she can love her grandma, and doesn't have to give that up. Instead, she can allow other love to come in, and add to the love her grandma gave her.

Next week, Towanda sees hubby, Josie and Jennifer get their friendship tested, Josie is standing in front of the BOR.
