How are we to know what they agreed on before they got married? Maybe they still agree upon them now, but roles have changed. But in my never-to-be-humble opinion, they have the best shot in the house. A quiet Pakistani man loved a vivacious, outgoing woman enough to love, respect, honor, and marry her.
And in this day in age of step-half sisters twice removed on my step-mother's side and marriages that are composed of kids from two and three marriages with grandparents raising their great-grandchildren, the fact that they believe their marriage can and will last forever is not only refreshing, but touching. That means they're willing, no matter what their differences to work through them.
But at least, look at it this way, the husband, who sounds very traditional, was brave enough to make a "quantum leap," in the words of our beloved blonde LC, and come to the SOH. An idea I'm willing to bet was his wife's
