I have watched that man since I was a little kid. He was a class act and made others rise to his standards. He was truly amazing and just had something others don't. I cried when he said he had cancer and I was amazed at how fast the end came for him. He will be missed....

My sentiments also momof2. With so very many newscasters on these days you tend to remember the ones you have 'known' the longest.

Peter Jennings was just like you said, "A Class Act!" He certainly will be missed.

The disease of cancer has no boundaries and no time limits. When it afflicts a loved one it seems like it becomes so much closer to you. This disease did take Peter Jennings much too fast.

May he rest in peace.
