Mole, for sure, Hugs. We have them all over. Want to hear my hubby's solution? i will wait for your reply before I continue. I have never done this in practice, just know it in theory.

My brick walkway is being pushed up by those critters every night. I just poke the dirt back down until the next time.

I want to hear the solution whether or not hugs does.

Okay, here you go. Mind you, I have not, or would not do this.



First, you go outside and wait patiently. No way could I do this step. Stand over a spot where the mole is sure to go. They follow the same tunnels nightly by me. When you see the ground start to move up, take your trusty pitch fork and wam, stab the ground. Carefully put your foot on the ground, and remove the pitchfork. You solved the problem, didn't have to see anything, and don't have to bury the dead animal.
