Hurricane 4 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 12
Does anyone know people in the path of the hurricane that is due to hit landfall in Florida sometime tomorrow?

The forcast is that it is a very powerful storm, and it has been the biggest evacuation of Florida's history.

Can you tell I got to watch the news this morning??

hs I have a brother & family who live outside Fort Walton Beach in the Panhandle on the Gulf. I e'd him w/Charlie and heard from him but not for this one as it is aimed differently. It such a mess, I hate thinking about it. Last I heard it was down to a "2" Hurricane rather than "5". Sad.

Yes, it's downgraded to category 2, but that is still winds of 110 mpr. Why do the reporters stand out there and yell at us while they are getting hit with wind, rain, and sand. Come on, be safe!!!!

I got an email from my brother in the Panhandle --- he wrote at 8 am. said so far, they are OK. But it hadn't got there yet! He said he's ready though, just bought the house. He says he's got a tank of gas & a pocketful of money! Said he's ready to go if things go nuts and he'll leave...he's not crazy! Prayer is all I can do for hi, family & all the people suffering in Florida.

Hang on for Ivan. How is your brother fairing in this one, halfdollar? This looks like a very powerful storm, but the path has moved on for most of Florida this time.

Prayers are will all the people and relief workers.
