A big warm welcome to all of you! I hope you enjoy the boards and chats as much as I do. I have met some of my best friends on this board. I think when you talk with your fingers and not with your mouth, you tend to open up your heart a little more.

I agree with you throughly DesertDiamond!! The show does seem more about ratings now than it did in the beginning. I guess in order to keep the show on the air, ratings are very important. I would like to see Rana come back as a coach though. I thought she was awesome in Chicago. It seemed more real there. (Chicago), not as much so in a mansion in southern California.

I took early retirement. I did Social Work after retiring from Sears.

Karen I am thinking she is from the third season. Megg from the third season was a favorite. Jill maybe be my all time favorite

I'm new to this site and am really enjoying it! I'm in the Louisville, Kentucky, area and have been a fan of SO since the very first time I saw an episode. I remember the episode, in fact: the one where P.J. went through the labyrinth. I was home recuperating from back surgery and caught it without having any idea what it was about. I have been hooked since! I also was able to see much of season one through reruns that other channels here play.

To answer the questions:

My job: I am the IT director for a large religious non-profit. I LOVE my job!

Favorite movie: Oh, wow ... I usually have a movie I'm currently obsessed with, but I have a stash of movies I have loved forever and will watch every year for the rest of my life. Some of those are: Hannah & Her Sisters, When Harry Met Sally, An Affair to Remember (with Deborah Kerr). I'm currently having a phase of wanting to watch Hallmark movies. I have one paused right now, in fact, while I finish eating supper!

My favorite SOG: This is hard to do, but I guess it would be Lori from Season One. I liked her incredible integrity, and I could relate to her on a number of issues. Plus I thought she was just a blast and VERY brave. Remember when she cut her hair off??

Again, I'm thoroughly enjoying this site. Thanks to whoever is responsible for it (and forgive me for not knowing this yet -- I'll spend time reading and figuring this out soon!).

Hi everyone. I LOVE SO so much I tape it everyday when I am at work. I would love to go and work on the process with Rhonda, but I am too chicken to do it on t.v.; so... I am a middle school teacher. I have 2 purebred dachshunds and one dorkie which is half yorkie and half dachshund. My favorite present day character is Jodi, but I love Jill. I wish they would show Jodi more at Curves. I run the family business that my mom and grandmother started. I have been doing this for two years now. I also go to school. I am getting a degree in psychology and I hope to head to grad. school in a couple of years.
